There is a problem with the connection.
Check the Internet connection.
Miele app:
Check and re-establish the connection, e.g. by tracking the appliance status in the Miele app.
To display the connection status, proceed as follows:
Open the Miele app.
Select your appliance under “Appliances”.
If there is no connection, the display will tell you this.
WiFi connection strength:
Check that your WiFi connection is strong enough, e.g. under FoodView in the Miele app.
Open and close the oven door to restart the food recognition process.
If the food still cannot be identified, check if there are any software updates or module updates available for your oven:
Go to “Settings” in the menu.
Install the available updates.
Check for module updates in the Miele app.
Install the available module updates.
Check that a value greater than or equal to 05165 V5432 is displayed for the ELP ID and a value greater than or equal to 36097 is displayed for the XKM ID. Smart Food ID is supported for these versions and higher.
