When using induction cooking zones, you may hear noises coming from the cookware.
The following noises may occur, depending on the type and shape of the cookware base:
On the higher power levels, it might buzz. This buzzing will decrease or cease altogether when the power level is reduced.
Cookware with bases made of different materials (e.g. sandwich bases) may produce a crackling noise.
Whistling might occur if linked cooking zones are being used at the same time, and the pans also have bases made of layers of different materials (e.g. sandwich base).
The electronics may produce a clicking sound, especially at lower power levels.
To increase the life of the electronic module, the appliance features a cooling fan. When the appliance is being used intensively, the cooling fan switches on and causes a humming noise. The cooling fan may continue to run after the appliance has been switched off.
