Use suitable cookware. Cookware made from the following materials is suitable:
Stainless steel cookware with a magnetic base
Enamelled steel
Cast iron
Cookware made from the following materials is not suitable:
Stainless steel cookware without a magnetic base
Aluminium or copper cookware
Glass, ceramic or earthenware cookware
To test whether a pot or pan is induction-compatible, hold a magnet to the base. If the magnet sticks, the cookware is generally suitable.
Check whether the fan is being blocked by objects in a drawer below the hob, or by dust or similar substances, and remove the blockage accordingly.
