Water is not being pumped away (G1xxx–G6xxx)

The dishwasher does not pump the water away after the wash cycle. The water remains in the wash cabinet (G1xxx–G6xxx).

Coarse soiling must not enter the circulation system.

Clean the filter combination as follows:

  • Then close the flap on the inside of the filter so that the catch fully engages.

  • Replace the filter combination so that it lies flat in the base of the wash cabinet.

  • Turn the handle of the filter combination clockwise until both arrows point towards each other.

The non-return valve is incorrectly positioned in the dishwasher.

Remove the non-return valve. Proceed as follows:

  • Press the catch on the non-return valve inwards (1).

The drain hose is kinked.

If the drain hose is damaged, it must be replaced. If this is necessary, contact the Miele Customer Service Department.

Remove any kinks or loops from the drain hose.

Keep an eye on any points where kinks were present for a while afterwards, as the plastic may tear here.

The drain hose or the on-site drain is blocked. Frequent use can result in deposits in the drain hose.

Check the hose for blockages and try to remove them.

Additionally, clean the on-site drain and the siphon.

If the fault persists, please contact us or book a repair appointment online.
