The lid to the ground coffee chute was opened and closed again without the ground coffee being refilled. The user then selected ground coffee on the display.
To prepare a drink using ground coffee, fill the relevant compartment with ground coffee.
When making coffee, only water comes out of the coffee spout instead of coffee.
To prepare a drink using ground coffee, fill the relevant compartment with ground coffee.
Proceed as follows:
Pull out the mains plug or switch off the coffee machine at the mains switch.
Remove all coffee beans from the bean container.
If necessary, use a vacuum cleaner to remove any coffee residues from the bean container.
Refill the bean container with new coffee beans.
Check the capsule carousel and insert a coffee capsule.
In order to remove coffee residues properly from the coffee grinder channel, vacuum out the ground coffee chute once a year with a vacuum cleaner attachment (supplied where applicable).
Clean the ground coffee chute as follows:
Open the appliance door and remove the ground coffee drawer.
Insert the vacuum cleaner attachment. Use the suction tube of your vacuum cleaner to vacuum out the ground coffee chute.
Remove the vacuum cleaner attachment and refit the ground coffee drawer.
Close the appliance door.
