Milk froth not hot or too runny

The milk froth is not hot enough or is too runny.

The milk in the milk container is too hot.

Good milk froth can only be achieved with cold milk (< 10 °C).

Milk is not cooled in the milk container. Therefore, place the milk container in the refrigerator if you are not going to use milk for a while.

Cool your milk in the refrigerator until it is below 10 °C.

The central spout and milk container lid have not been cleaned properly or have been fitted incorrectly.

Clean and fit the central spout and milk container lid as described in the operating instructions for your coffee machine.

  • First remove the air intake hose (1) from the opening (3). Then pull off the elbow connector (2).

  • Pull both hoses off the elbow connector.

  • Clean the air intake hose (1) under running water using the cleaning brush supplied. Blowing through the hose can also loosen any blockages.

  • Push the hoses onto the elbow connector and reinsert it. Make sure that the bar on the elbow connector is pointing downwards. The tubes must fit firmly on the elbow connector and form a tight seal.

  • Insert the air intake hose back into the opening (3).

  • Refit the service flap.

  • Close the appliance door.
