Insert central spout (countertop appliance)

Insert central spout appears on the coffee machine display even though the central spout is inserted (countertop appliance).

The magnet is missing from the suction nozzle of the central spout.

A small magnet has been fitted in the suction nozzle of the central spout, see figure. The magnet might drop out by accident when the central spout is being cleaned.

Check the serial number and the index number on your coffee machine’s data plate. Magnets have not been fitted to coffee machines from no. 13 / 097367459 onwards.

The data plate is located behind the drip tray.

Switch the coffee machine off.

Pull the stainless steel cover off the central spout.

Remove the dispensing unit to the front.

Check for a magnet inside the suction nozzle, see figure.

If a magnet has been fitted, reposition it correctly inside the suction nozzle.

Refit the dispensing unit in the central spout.

Refit the stainless steel cover.

Switch the coffee machine on again.

If the fault persists, please contact us or book a repair appointment online.
