The appliance WiFi is taking longer than expected to open.

Select Try again.
Your smartphone could not be connected to your Miele appliance. The Miele app displays the message Connection fault and the fault code 2.1.24.
Wait a few seconds.
Select Try again.
Select Alternative connection.
Follow the instructions in the app to manually connect to the domestic appliance’s WiFi.
Android: wait until the Miele appliance WiFi appears in the list. Select the Miele appliance WiFi.
Move your mobile device closer to your domestic appliance.
Note: make sure that you do not hold the mobile device directly against the Miele domestic appliance.
Select Try again.
Select Adjust state in the Miele app.
Return to the start of the networking process.
Activate the appliance WiFi and follow the instructions in the app.
Select Adjust number.
Type in the serial number manually. You will find the 8 or 9-digit serial number on the data plate after the slash.
For Android:
A list of saved/known WiFi networks appears in the WiFi settings for your mobile device.
Delete all known WiFi networks that begin with “Miele”.
Repeat the log-in process.
For iOS:
On certain Apple devices, there is no list of known/saved WiFi networks in the WiFi settings.
The appliance WiFi of the domestic appliance must be started, then the connection to the Miele appliance WiFi will be visible in the settings under WiFi.
Tap on the “i” following the entry in the list.
Select Forget this network.
Connect your domestic appliance directly to your router via WPS without first accessing the Miele app.
Only open the Miele app once the router and domestic appliance show that you are connected.
You should then be able to see the domestic appliance in the app and select Add to add it.
If you cannot connect without using the Miele app, there may be a problem with your network settings.
